Aftercare Plans are designed to offer convenience for clients seeking ongoing support and maintenance for their hearing aids. Upon purchasing hearing aids, we include this service for 4 months completely free of additional costs.

When people use hearing aids, there will always be on-going  costs, such as appointments, part replacements, software adjustments, along with continueing monitoring of hearing. Instead of paying for our services at each appointment, we provide a once-off payment, which covers all costs for everything you'll need to care for your hearing aids for the duration of your plan.

Aftercare Plans include the following
*Unlimited booking of appointments related to hearing aid maintenance and support
*Unlimited replacement of hearing aid speaker/receiver units, filters or domes 
*Yearly review appointments (1 per year)
*Unlimited hearing aid cleaning drop off service (in clinic only)
*Loan hearing aids (if your hearing aids need to be sent for manufacturer repair)
*Unlimited supplies of hearing aid batteries
*If devices are lost or damaged beyond repair while under a plan, you'll receive $700 insurance rebate towards replacement devices purchased from us

Why do you charge for on-going support and maintenance costs?
  • We charge for Aftercare Plans because we do not build these costs into the prices of our hearing aids. We instead prefer to provide high-quality hearing aids at fair prices, with the option of paying for these extra services when required by clients.

  • Other providers build this into their prices, by either over-charge for hearing aids (think $9,000 hearing aids), or provide you with low-quality hearing aids and build the extra profit of the aids into the costs of your future appointments. Either way, there's always a catch when this is delivered at "no-cost" to clients. We just prefer to be upfront about it.

Do I really need to purchase an Aftercare Plan?  Who are they best for?
  • Aftercare Plans are highly recommended for older clients (those aged over 65), as these clients will generally require more support in management, with more frequent visits to the clinic each year than younger clients. 

  • To provide you with a guide on whether an Aftercare Plans is the best option for you, we can tell you that those aged over 65 will generally require 3-6 audiology appointments per yearwhile those aged under 65 will generally require around 1-3 appointments per year. 

  • Therefore, if you are a younger client or do not intent on saying in the Albany-Denmark region long-term, an Aftercare plan is probably not required for you.

What services are NOT included in an Aftercare Plan?
  • Any appointment unrelated to hearing aid aftercare and support. For example, a self-elected appointment for approval to get your drivers licence renewed, or a hearing assessment requested by your doctor or treating specialist, due to new medical condition.

  • If your hearing aids are lost or damaged beyond repair, there is no full replacement or insurance coverage. We always recommend clients take out home and contents insurance on hearing aids.

  • Ear wax removal services are not included.

  • Replacement of hearing aid earmoulds/ re-shelling of earmoulds (unless due to manufacturer fault).
