Not sure if you are eligible for funding?

Pensioner Concession Card and DVA card holders may be entitled to fully subsidised devices and appointments. Read our funding options, or call us and we will check for you.

Do I need a referral to book a hearing test or wax removal?

No. You can book a free hearing checkup, a hearing assessment or microsuction wax removal directly with us. A GP referral is helpful for some medical assessments, but it is not required to get started.

How much does a hearing test cost in Albany?

A hearing checkup is free, and includes a hearing test. A full diagnostic hearing assessment is $149 standard, or $179 medical. If you hold a Pensioner Concession Card or a DVA Veterans Card you may be eligible for fully subsidised appointments through the Australian Government Hearing Services Program.

Are you a full Hearing Services Program provider?

Yes. We are a full provider for the Hearing Services Program, which means we provide fully subsidised appointments and hearing aids for eligible clients under the program. Unlike our competitors we do not charge our HSP clients a yearly maintenance fee, so services with us are completely subsidised.

How much do hearing aids cost?

Our hearing aids are always sold at fixed prices, starting from $1,195 for a pair in the disposable battery version, with rechargeable models starting from $1,595. We publish our prices openly rather than revealing them after a consultation.

Can I try hearing aids before I buy them?

Yes. We offer no-obligation 10 day trials in our Standard Plus, Tribe, Excellence and Aristo technology levels. After your trial, you still have 30 days to return the hearing aids for a full refund.

Do you remove ear wax?

Yes, using microsuction, which is significantly safer than syringing because it eliminates pressure on the eardrum and avoids introducing fluid into the canal. It is $119 for one ear or $149 for both, and if a repeat visit is needed to remove all the wax, no further charges apply.
