Hearing aid batteries and accessories
What we stock
Batteries
All common hearing aid battery sizes. If you are eligible for the Hearing Services Program, your batteries are always supplied free of charge with us.
Speaker units
Replacement receivers and speaker units for the devices we support. Speaker units carry a 12 month warranty. If yours has failed within warranty, we do not charge for the repair.
Domes and filters
Replacement domes in the common sizes, and wax filters to keep the receiver clear. Every new hearing aid purchase includes 8 domes and 2 packets of filters as standard.
Ear care products
We stock ear wax removers and ear treatment sprays. For routine wax management we recommend over-the-counter drops used once a day, 1 to 3 times per month, rather than cotton swabs.
How to buy consumables
Looking after your devices
- Clean your hearing aids at least once or twice per week
- Charge them each night if they are rechargeable
- Proper maintenance takes under 5 minutes a week and extends the life of the devices
- See your audiologist yearly for a hearing test, firmware update and reprogramming
Cleaning may not seem that important, but it plays a vital role in keeping devices working well between visits.
