Audiology services and pricing

When you visit our clinic or we visit you, the fees we charge will vary based on whether you are enrolled in an Aftercare Plan, a member of the Department of Veteran Affairs, or eligible for the Australian Government Hearing Services Program (HSP).

Aftercare Plans are provided at no extra cost for client's who have purchased hearing aids from us. Exteded Aftercare Plans are also available for purchase, providing full coverage for ongoing hearing care, along with all hearing aid maintenance and support.

How billing works for Private, HSP and Aftercare

Clients enrolled in an Aftercare Plan will not occur any charges for hearing aid-related appointments and hearing monitoring, regardless of the type of appointment booked - at our clinic or in your home.

Aftercare Plans are included for 4 months after purchase of hearing aids. Additionally, they can be purhased as extended plan options. Please see our "Aftercare Plans" for more information.

For clients not enrolled in an Aftercare Plan, our standard billing rates apply. Standard billing rates apply to client's outside of the 4-month post purchase period without a purchased plan, or for all new in-coming client's who have never been seen by us before.

Home visits are billed at +25% the standard fees.

Home visit appointments are available for both HSP and Private-funded clients, however, we can only bill privately for this service.
If you are a DVA or Pension Card Holder, you may be entitled to fully subsidised appointment costs and hearing aids. Please speak to us if you think this applies to you. Fully subsidised appointments are only available in-clinic.

Hearing Assessments

For individuals aware of a hearing loss and ready for full testing.

When requested, a medical report can be provided for all hearing assessments at no additional cost.

Hearing Aid Aftercare and Support

For individuals who use hearing aids already and require on-going support and maintenance.

If you are a new client requiring these services, please book our "first time visit with exsisting hearing aids" appointment.

*Clients enrolled in an Aftercare Plan do not incur any charges for these appointment types.

Ear Wax Removal Service

A medical referral is not required for wax removal. If a medical report is required at a wax removals, a $35 fee applies. If a follow-up removal appointment is required to removal all of the ear wax, no further charges apply.

Free Hearing Checkup and Device Discussions

For clients uncertain about their need for hearing aids or who simply wish to have a friendly chat about their hearing. During these appointments, we will evaluate your hearing, and if requested, explore hearing aid options. We can also clarify funding options available to you. Rest assured, you will not receive any marketing calls following these appointments.

Yearly Review Appointments

For clients already using hearing aids who require yearly monitoring of hearing and hearing aid maintenance and care. Following industry standards, we highly recommend people using hearing aids utilise this service atleast once a year to ensure optimal performance of hearing aids. At this appointment we will do a full hearing test. If changes are seen, we will re-configure your hearing aids to suit your most current hearing thresholds.

Yearly review appointment $120

Hearing Aid Parts, Supplies and Warranty Repairs

For clients who require supplies for their hearing aids - this can be provided through either booking an appointment at our clinic (no charge) or posting it out to you (postage and processing fee applies).

*Clients enrolled in an Aftercare Plan do not incur any charges for repairs, parts or supplies.

Warranty repair process:

Hearing aids purchased from us do not occur any fees, regardless of the client type.

Hearing aids purchased elsewhere will occur a $40 processing fee.

We also stock supplies for most major hearing aid manufacturers, not just our own, including:

Ear mould replacements
Ear domes
Hearing aid filters
Hearing aid receivers/speakers
Drying caps
