Jason Currie

Director and Principal Audiologist

Born in Perth and raised in the rural South Island of New Zealand, Jason moved to the Great Southern region two years ago to return to his country roots. He completed his postgraduate studies in Clinical Audiology at the University of Western Australia and holds undergraduate degrees in Medicine and Population Health. Coming from a family background of psychologists, he is well versed in counselling techniques, with more than 7 years experience in Adult Hearing Rehabilitation.

Jason's approach to his clinic is to provide a more personalised experience for his clients, along with excellent aftercare support. Being a family-operated clinic, he does not believe audiology should just be about selling hearing aids, that's why he also provides ear disease and ear wax management services.

He prioritises taking extra time with clients, utilising an approach that encompasses the person's lifestyle and family dynamics. For this reason, he encourages all new hearing assessment clients to bring family members along.

Over his career, he has learnt that when it comes to hearing aids, quality and reliability matter. Taking this on board, he has chosen to work with only the worlds most trusted manufacturers - ensuring a better experience for his clients.
