Audiology in your own home

We know visiting our clinic can be inconvenient, which is why we offer professional home visits for your audiology needs. This service is ideal for those with transport difficulties. Most of the services we provide in clinic can be provided on home visits, including hearing assessments, hearing aid fittings and microsuction removal.

How it works

We service an extensive region, extending from Kalgan all the way to Scotsdale. Home visit services are available every Thursday and Saturday from 9:00am to 3:30pm. Please call us on 0429 561 632 if you require a visit.

  • Once your appointment has been booked, we will call you to confirm and answer any questions
  • We can access nearly all property types. With a 4WD vehicle we can even attend remote houses and farm properties
  • For new hearing assessments we suggest a family member, friend or carer is present, as their insight into your hearing needs is valuable
  • Our audiologist attends every home visit with a mobile eftpos machine and provides a tax invoice

Funding for home visits

For pensioners eligible through the Hearing Services Program, we can provide home visit services partially billed through the program. Please note that a supplementary callout fee still applies.

Home visit prices

  • Private clients

    Please contact us directly for our pricing.

  • HSP & DVA pensioners

    A flat callout fee only: $99 for short to medium appointments, and $249 for hearing assessments, device fittings and yearly reviews.

  • New client assessment

    If you currently use hearing aids and have not been seen by us before, you are required to book a new client assessment. For HSP clients this cost is $249.

Microsuction ear wax removal is not covered by the HSP and is only available through private billing. Prices listed include all fees, including GST.

Outside Albany

Bornholm, Denmark, Elleker, Goode Beach, Kalgan, Kronkup, Marbelup, Nanarup, Narrikup, Ocean Beach, Robinson, Scotsdale, Torbay.

Home visit terms of service

For all home visit appointments that require hearing testing, we ask that you provide a moderately quiet environment. If your home is located on a busy road, or if there are any ongoing roadworks outside, please inform us when scheduling your appointment. Normal outside environmental noise will not impact hearing tests.

We reserve the right to refuse delivery of services at homes that do not meet our criteria in relation to work safety or excessive noise. In such cases we will always provide in-clinic appointments as an alternative option.
